As the name of the guild suggests, the truefolk who make service their calling are often like the glove that protects the metaphorical hand of a family and the key that gives access to their influence. Yet despite the great esteem and noticeable leverage certain aristocratic household staffs enjoy within the League, they are not its only members. Any establishment that must anticipate the needs of its clientele uses truefolk bonded by the service guild, including high-end restaurants boasting flawless dining and exclusive clubs offering personalized service to their distinguished members.

Truefolk find membership in the League of Glove and Key appealing because of the wide variety of job opportunities it offers. Succeeding as an apprentice in the League of Glove and Key requires a profound grasp of human behavior and social dynamics so that, by the time one becomes a master, they can easily navigate complex social hierarchies. Members dedicated to learning, practicing, and improving within the guild can do well for themselves. And those with the added advantage of highly attuned empathy and self-awareness are almost guaranteed success.

  1. ABOUT THE TRUEFOLK

    Truefolk belong to one of five guilds, based on their skills and expertise: Crown Hall College, the League of Glove & Key, Peacock’s Feast, the Piedmont Accord, and the Rivet & Bellows Union. Each guild includes ranks that designate truefolk achievement, starting at apprentice, advancing to fellow, and reaching a pinnacle as a master. That said, even among the guilds, truefolk rarely present a unanimous voice, and never a homogeneous one. Any number of disagreements can emerge over workaday misunderstandings to disputes about the division of resources. However, their close ties to the aristocracy often make them the first to catch wind of any impending scandal.
